I'm with @cruza driver. The drop table has a myriad of uses beyond TV. Mine is now a bit higher since I went underslung and gets daily use with folding aluminium table underneath. It's the coffee and toaster table at breakfast. Condiment shelf when making pizzas. The Ice bucket holder and spirits shelf at Happy Hour, etc.

As posted in another thread, I am now able to carry an two bikes on the A frame, thus making the Discovery my perfect family tourer. I was initially going to put a Fiamma rack on the front, but if I got a flat tyre it would have been a big job trying to access the spare.
I'm pretty happy with what I came up with, when the bikes are off there's nothing impeding access to the boot.
I haven't had to drill any holes into the drawbar only 3 into the plate where the jerry can holder mounts. The rear wheels are held down with ockey straps. The bikes are rock solid and feel more secure than the ones in the Fiamma rack off the back.

Heading off this weekend for a tour of the Snowy Mountains. Got about 12 days to cover the following destinations. It's my first time at a 'lets drive and wing it' trip, so I'm sure I'm gonna learn alot.

We are up at Corryong at the moment and did a day trip to Gihi. You definitely picked a route with a lot of hills and windy bits.

Got the cover. It's not great but it should do the job of keeping the sun off the side of the van and the soot from the pizza oven.
The material is identical to the enviro green shopping bags and is the same thickness on roof and walls.
Probably could have gone a size smaller also.

New Mod: External Speaker.
This was an easy install just took it out of the box, placed it on the wheel and synced the bluetooth with my phone.

Did a weekend trip down to Congo NSW South Coast for a gathering with my brothers. It was a bit of a drive (4hrs each way) but we had a great time. Weather was perfect and it was great for the kids to run a muck with their cousins. Our tribe took over half the campsite.

So far the van is getting a work out, and really happy with my purchase.

I put some strip led lighting under the annex. Got 2 sets of blue led Christmas lights from Big W at a $1 each (half price). They run off to AA batteries and slide straight into the channel.

Currently at Honeymoon Bay (Jervis Bay NSW). Awesome spot, $30 for two nights. Doesn't get much better than this. I'll post some photos in the morning.
