Currently at Dalmeny on the NSW South Coast, it's a beautiful spot. Using my parents 1986 Viscount, really wishing I had the Discovery now.

I had an '86 Viscount Aerolite identical to that, sold it in '89 in Sydney before I moved to the Gold Coast. Nice van and very light to tow, I towed it with a Mk II Corona but it would never go where I take the Expanda.

The van was parked in Western Sydney, an innocent victim of a driveby shooting. Nah, that's just some hail damage.

Definitely not gonna cancel the Discovery. Spending 4 days in this little old thing makes me want the Discovery all the more.

Well Monday the 25th November is my scheduled pickup of my van. Could have been today, however my Jeep Grand Cherokee had an oil leak, (loose oil pressure switch - poor predelivery by dealer). She's all sorted now.

Just wanted to ask other Discovery owners is there any problems you have picked up with your van that I might want to pay particular attention to when I do the handover?

I think @expanda had an issue with a minor leaking window I'm sure he'll give you more info.

Picked up the van yesterday. So far all looks good. The biggest relief was when it fitted under the carport (with about 10mm gap). The Grand Cherokee's airlift suspension helped here as I was able to lift it up to lower the back of the van.

Will post some more photos later.
