Well looks like you didn't make my mistake, everything bolted down and seat won't move, someone forgot to plug in the seat and of course the plug can't be reached as it's caught up. I know how to remove my seats very quickly now.
and what not to do.

Oh and Jelly babies can double for carpet adhesive as well.

well, SWMBO had this great idea............
"why dont we get an annex for the Van hun........??"

"well, hun, last time I forked out a "single mothers yearly pension" on an annex, we sold the Van (Flamingo) within 18months
I do NOT want to repeat that scenario..............."

"nah" she says - "I'll buy it and pay for it.................."

"SOLD to the Lady with money............................"

so we had Terry from Australia Wide Annexes over this afternoon measuring up what we want...... Nice guy.... very patient
said it will be ready in 3 weeks............

stand by for piccies of miss adventure trying to fit it on her own...........

well, while we were away at Dwellingup
the heavens opened up - real good, Friday Saturday and Sunday
Saturday arvo, while stuffing around, I found 2 of the carpet squares under the table wet - along with my shoe that was sitting on it
WTF............
searched high and low. could not find a water leak anywhere
hoses were dry inside the cupboard
no water stains around the window

only thing I could find was it was "damp" under the frame / cover of where the water comes into the Van

curiouser and curiouser

so today, I un-screwed the outside for a look see

well, I finally found some of that Famous Jayco fitting treatment
(I have been very lucky - NOTHING has failed due to Jayco famous Quality Control)

out of 6 screws to hold the outside on to the body of the Van - yeppers 2 were into fresh air....and 2 were right on the edge of discovery.........
so, out with the silastic, and sealed behind the rubber sealing strip
(I hope it was a rubber sealing strip and not dried silastic, as it was a perfect size and shape)
then re-drilled 4 new holes into something more substantial - like the body of the Van

forgot to take piccies - sorry
but it did happen

inside of water thingy
IMAG1161.jpg

you can see the screw at the bottom, and the one on the right at the top - had to re-drill them into the side

the one at the top
and top left hand side were almost into fresh air - a Gnat's whisker
so they were re-drilled as well

and my chainsaw........... in its home

The sucker (Vac) gets a work out when the grandson is with us and the blower is handy when setting up on a site with concrete pad under the awning..... I hate using a broom :tape2: :violin:
