Spoke to our local dealer today and he has advised that the 2015 versions now come with block out double glazed style windows same as the ones in the Journey and Starcraft full vans:). External TV point is now standard as well. Could not confirm about the power points with built in USB. Will advise if I hear anymore.

Cheers

I signed off on my plans 2 weeks ago and the PowerPoint at the end of the double bed where the tv and bracket goes was marked as having a usb in it but all the others were not. The new upgraded windows were listed. Hope this helps.

So these new powerpoints with USB I assume the USB only works on 240v ?

I spoke with the dealer 2 days ago, apparently the USB is only functional on 240V supply.......looks like its a self install of 12V Narva Dual USB outlets :-(

Thanks @Chrisv yeah I thought that maybe the case if they are in the GPOs.

My front outside speaker was coming away from the wall. Why the $&@? Jayco mount them part jnto the alloy panelling is beyond me. If they lowered them down 30mm they would be flush with black chequerplate and sit perfect.

Anyway what I did notice whilst putting in my new hatch (see other thread in my Jayco) is that they avoided cutting into the white alloy panelling and hence the hole wasn't quite larger enough vertically so the speaker couldnt be mounted back far enough in. That's the reason it came away, so it's probably worth checking if your speaker looks loose.

You'll see from the pic where the hole flattens out at the top.

It's funny how Jayco will mount something over two different surfaces. Take the access hatches on the Expanda. They are black in colour and about 10% cover the white part of the van with the majority in the black chequer plate. Why not extend the height of the chequer plate to allow the black hatch to be wholly camouflaged.

ok pics of the updated one seems windows changed could not see a USB on a power plug..
Also did some measurements of tables seems one is 7cms less I assume for dinette, which is probably why ours is too big

Narrower table is a good idea. I am not a fan of thos windows but the hopper windows on the bunks are a good idea. The colours look good.

Thankyou for the photos davemc, great to see some pics. I presume there were no cosmetic changes to the starcraft exterior. Not sure if I like the black corner trim on the new expandas yet or not, so won't be too dissapointed either way.

Anybody thinking of a hatch under the bed I thought id make some notes on the pic so people can get an idea. Happy to take measurements if anybody needed them but I would still be cautious before cutting into a van and check for uprights. Its not like Jayco make the exact same thing each time ;-)

Hey @halbster

Just wondering with those bed lights, how do they come off? Do they pull away from the base? I can't see any screws?

Also how are they working out down the other end, have you bumped them yet?

Where'd you get the 12v led down lights? Thinking a couple over the sink might be the go?

If you look closely around the base of the light you will find a small check out in the black section you can insert a small flat blade screw driver and prize off the silver section.
Have had no issues with the lights down the door end, think I bumped my head maybe once, but use the lights every night so no biggy.
The LED downlights I got from Jaycar, they work great but we don't really use them, they just look nice and cover the old holes.
