@Bluey the spare was mounted under the van between the 2 axles. I got a cruiser spare tire winder from the wreckers and made the cross member mounts and galvanised them, also made some spacer plates and screwed to the underside so the jack was under load when the tyre was pulled against it so the tyre would not come loose and rock around. Worked a treat and put the weight low down, over the axles and did not restrict clearance as the beam axles were still lower.
