Hope they work better than the Engel version. Ours was crap.

Sorry @macca, I hate it when that happens.................................I just did a Google and found Companion, Engel ones looking the same unit but priced at $35 then this popped up for $18, checked with my local Ironman FWD Shop and he had them for $45 so I hit the paypal button on the $18 job quick smart.....................see how things go when it gets here.

We have one in the van - seems to work quite well except the signal seems to occasionally drop out, then after a while the temp shows up again?

Don't know if that is normal or if anyone else has had the same issue? I've only had mine for a couple of weeks..

Had ours setup in the beer fridge (two rooms away) for a couple of weeks and the display sitting here on the desk and no probs (Yet!!!!!!)

Must remember to fit it in the van on the weekend so I don't forget before we head off in two weeks!
