Finally after a long wait and a lot of work the Expandas new home is going forward. Slab laid and I am awaiting a 9x7 garage from Ranbuild. I put a drain in to catch the water left in the drain pipe when i back her in (and forget and pump the handle!).

Here`s where our baby sleeps when we're home.I built both shed and carport. The shed started as a 6m x 7m but added a 3m bay on each end when we could afford it. With our old expanda we had to back it in and the winch it through the roller door on the right in the first pic.My wife was always having kittens worrying the van would come off and go down over the retaining wall.So we decided to build a carport 9m x 5.5m. Backing in and out now is a breeze.

I was discussing with the wife on the weekend about the fibreglass yellowing, so i have decided when the funds permit we will sheet this rear wall as it is north facing and the rear bed end gets a bit of sun on it. It will block my access to the rear yard but will be worth it i think. I will have a opening for access still as the woodshed is just behind the watertank and to the van.

17T, suggestion - what about trapping/ canvassing the opening like a bitro blind for a pergola, then you'd still have access.

Nothing like getting a few brownie points, let it be our little secret. Cheers Pace.

expanda just out of curiosity, is this thread closed to members only? just a bit concerned that everybody is creating a shopping list for thieves, enabling them to "case the joint" without going there.
Sorry, its just my mindset at the moment...... these days with the power of Google its not hard to track down people from pics etc.

Yeah, not a bad idea bigman0510. With a husband in the security industry, I've heard all the bad stories. Has probably made me a little hyper sensitive to theft.....
But yes, thieves are much more computer savvy these days.
