Hey @cruza driver have you tried the fridge on gas yet? we got gas fuses on the starcraft. So far each time I have fired up the fridge on gas the fuse has poped after a min or two and the fridge has gone out ! Once reset all good.
I haven't yet @achjimmy but it did say to pump the fuse 6 times and more if its a long gas line like in the vans.

I'll let you know how it goes mate.

Another mod completed today was fitting shelves into the wardrobe. After searching through the forum about what way to tackle the job I decided to very similar to how @17triton did his. Again its one of those jobs that has been on the back burner for to long :blah:

So another trip to Bunnings last night to collect what I needed for todays job.
3 sheets of 12mm ply, and 3 lengths of aluminium 30x30mm angle brackets. I bought an extra sheet of ply for another little job ;)

I lined the sides for extra strength as its our pantry. If it was cloths I probably wouldn't have gone to the extra effort. That's my theory anyway ;)

I have a gas fuse on my van. I open and run one of the stove burners for a few seconds then scream ( i mean light) the fridge.
Takes a quite a few goes but once running it stays on.
When trying with out running the stove it took for ever to start.

I do the same thing and have never had a problem lighting the fridge so I'll keep doing this too :thumb:

How many times do you pump the gas fuse @Paul ?

Nice work on the shelves CD..

I had gas fuses on the Panda from day 1, only ever pumped them 3 or 4 times, but usually ran the stove first if it had been used on gas for a while, but was never an issue, unfortunately the fuses went with the Panda, so I need new ones for the "THE SHAK"
Speaking of which I ran the oven and grill the other day for the first time as it says to run/burn them in so did the same with the gas for fridge, it has electronic ignition, could hear it ticking away but wouldn't light, gas tap for the fridge was off.

Love the shelves @cruza driver :thumb:. Mr. W has done the same in our van but used white pre-drilled melamine sheets on the sides so we can adjust the heights of the shelves as needed. We have used our shelves to put wire basket 'draws' on. So much better use of the space than a big open hanging area.

I bought a heap of small micro switches so the lights will come on when you open the doors. Haven't fitted them yet as the wife doesn't like me working on it. She thinks we don't need them. How silly!
