are you going to get air bags fitted as well?
and where are you going to spend your coin......?
Yep to the airbags... Picked up a set of heavy duty 30mm lift Lovell's springs and shocks complete with suitable Polyair airbags from W.A. Suspensions in Ossie Park.

Starcraft 20.62-3 and Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. (With ORII and Quadralift).

(Previous Expanda owner of five years so I feel welcome here!).

Taken this week as day one of our first real road trip with the new van.

2675kg ATM. A beautiful thing!

(Edited because I love the photo with the red dirt!)

Sweet setup @twscoot looks very scmick!

Also i am loving all the Patrols that have popped up, especially that old G60 @Swerve and that sweet GU @bigcol. I too have a bit of a Patrol fetish still, even though i love my BT to bits, I love my old TD42 GQ still (the money pit) :thumb:

Just remembered I didn't put up the pic of the prado and new expanda after setting up the new suspension. Managed to get car and van to within +/- 3mm from original measurements :)

Who needs a WDH System ;)

The hotel on wheels with WDH and the Air Bags, she handles like a dream behind the Colorado off road and on.

First we did the tenting thing.
Then we purchased the Jayco swan.
Then the 1st Expanda was a 16 footer on road model.
Next we upgraded to the 16 with the outback lift plus lots of extras.
Finally for the 3rd Expanda 20.63-1OB with the slide out and were more than happy with this van and would thoroughly recommend one of these.

@dagree
It was a lot heaver than the 16 footer that's for sure.
With the van tyres on 20psi and the Colorado's on 15psi it's not too bad in a straight line. Reversing is fun though but the Colorado handled it pretty well.
That spot on the beach is really hairy to get into because there is not a lot of room to turn around on the beach there. But after a hour of digging and jack knifing the van to get in there and level it's well worth it for 2 weeks on the beach.

That van is way to clean?

Need to smear some dirt on it :)!

And nice tow rig by the way...

Getting from 18 to 23Ltr per 100Kms towing the 20-63-1OB, 23 into the wind though and that's fully loaded with 3 80LTr tanks as well.
