Thanks MM & CD.
Here is some quick footage of a Barra that got away from another guy at PIKES Crossing, Benaraby QLD. Not far from where Crystalyn and Aaron stay.

Looks like you've been catching our Barra.

There's always a lot of Barra around when the water goes over the wall.

We spent Sunday at Lake Awoonga, its only 5 minutes from our house.
Aaron went out on the reef with some of his workmates Saturday night.

Well here is what we did on the weekend - Easter Weekend. We camped at "The Walnuts" a free camp on Snowy creek between Mitta Mitta and Omeo (closer to Mitta) in the high country of Victoria. Beautiful day on Friday and Saturday and cold on Sunday and Monday (snowing at Falls Creek on the Monday - probably only 20kms or so away as the crow flys). Kids love the swing we take (which we picked up Bunnings) and loved riding the rapids on their boogie boards. Water was freezing - but great fun - but could not catch the elusive trout. Book reading by the campfire and storytelling to little kids high in a chestnut tree

We were warm and toasty in the van at night under doonas or in sleeping bags -and the new toilet was a bonus for the cold midnight visit. The weber worked a treat making a yummy sunday lunch and lots of marshmallows in the campfire.

Well we are 1/2 way through this weekend so I thought I'd share what I have been upto so far
I headed down to part of the Otway Ranges at the Anglesea end of the Great Ocean Rd and went motorbike riding. All up I covered 400km in the Cruiser and 100km on the bike. I had never ridden down there beforew and didn't know what to expect. It was an awesome day out and the sandy tracks perfect with ocean views along the ridglines.

I also checked out a couple of free campgrounds too, but I reckon they would get very busy.
Sitting on top of a ridgeline looking out over the ocean. (iPhone Pics Sorry)

I wonder what I'll get upto tomorrow :tape:

Hey CD, how did you upload your photos off your iPhone? I try to do it on the ipad2 but can't. If you didn't upload them via iPhone, will there be a option down the track to do this?
Cheers Deano

G'day Deano, I actually loaded them to the laptop when I got home then uploaded via Photobucket which I do for all my photos..

I'm not sure about loading them directly via your iPad, Expanda is the man to ask and he should be able to let you know if it will be an option later on too.

You can download the photobucket app onto your Iphone and then you can just copy the img tags from there straight into your post.
Works very well and easy too.

Last weekend I went to Big River for one of my best mates Bucks Weekend, a nice fire and plenty of laughs. We went up 2 weeks earlier and chose a suitable campground for the weekend. Its handy having places like this less than 70k's from home.
Before setting up the fire was lit as there was a threat of rain, but didn't happen till 3am

Yesterday we went to Upper Yarra Dam in the Yarra Valley to check out a future destination for a camping trip away, and cook some snags for lunch

Great shots Cruza. Don't you love those gasmate cookers for quick feed of snags?

They are very handy Jimmy for those quick impromtu BBQ's. Then we boiled the kettle afterwards, too easy.

fantastic CD, have been droping some serious hint to SWMBO that we need to get out that way. keep them coming and i'll let you know as out your way.cheers.
Thanks Pace, no worries there is plenty to see.
