Well our new toy has arrived. We ordered a 17.56-2 outback expanda in December last year. We finally drove, I mean towed it home yesterday.

We got lots of goodies included, such as:
Awning,
wineguard aerial,
150 litre fridge,
Hot water system,
2 gauge tank monitor,
battery monitor,
2 x 120 watt solar panels with
2 x 100 amp batteries in line,
simplicity suspension,
5 x 245/65R16 tyres,
privacy screens,
2 x fixed bunks with separate curtains,
1 large external hatch under bottom bunk,
cd/stereo with internal and external speakers,
external light on road side of van,
extend draw bar by 300mm,
external gas bayonet,
external picnic table,
12 volt fan for fridge,
3 shelves in robe,
laminex top dining table,
inner spring mattresses front and rear, and
an external shower.

She towed beautifully on the way home and I am very happy with it.

Here are some pickies:

So far we have bought some extra bits and pieces for the Expanda,

1. ground mat
2. new chairs for the kiddies
3. new bed sheets (full set *Try posting a bit more so your post isn't boring* for the bunk beds and drop down beds) (Wifes Orders)
4. new doonas for the kids beds and ours.
5. toaster
6. hand operated food processor
7. trailer lock
8. outside shower tent from oztrail
9. cabling and a 12v socket for cupboard near the door for the tv.

There are still more things to come, but the weather is stopping me from fitting things to my toy.

Very nice!! Hey did you order the inner spring mattresses or were they standard? I have seen another post that suggests they are standard in 2012 models.

Thanks. The matresses now come standard, but LED's do not.

Hey Mick, Do you know if they have installed the new type flew on your HWS? If your in doubt, take a photo and I should be able to tell.
I installed mine on the weekend and it has made all the difference, reliability every time!

Hi Mick,

You've got it all, nice work. Did you get Jayco to move the bunk ladder or did you do it yourself ? Ours came up the other end and we moved it ourselves, the jayco reps were scratching their heads thinking it was a sensible idea. Wondering if they are now fitting at the bed-end as standard ?

Congratulations - Wow looks great so exciting and all the extras - pretty similar to what we have ordered - although we are doing the solar panels afterwards- do you have it under cover - how has it withstood the recent deluge! - no wonder with all this rain you have not been able to get out and do anything!. By the way - what size bed sheets are you getting - I want to get new ones as well - might well fill in the time in the next week or so before we get ours by going and having a look for some! Really keen to see what work you do on it - we might be asking for lots of advice when ours arrives.

How was the first night in it mate?

It is a bit sad to say at the moment, but we hav not yet tried it out, that should be in about a week and half time when we go for a short trip to Condobolin.
