I can see some overkill from the hydraulic engineer coming upI also like the sump idea, to create what those of us in the industry call a "hydraulic break". I wonder what fancy contraption I could come up with...

I can see some overkill from the hydraulic engineer coming up. Can`t wait to see what you come up with mate
op2:.
@mfexpanda has a great setup with a mounted inverter running his van via the 240v input ... pretty impressiveThe other thing that came out of this trip was the thought/need to get an inverter for off grid stuff... Another thing I now need to go start researching and reading on...![]()
That is bloody hilarious ... well done, good find. I was crying and my stomach ached from laughingGreat read @Crusty181 and I also was waiting for the "expected ending"
Your story reminded me of a youtube link I was sent a while ago!!!!!
I still chuckle to myself when watching it (It reminds me of how Mrs Dagree would be like)![]()

im sure u have made sure all ur pipes flow and don't sag , had to cut one one of my pvc pipes just didn't flow right the way jayco had it , all weekend no problems with kids in shower , sink with a whirpool , but my air conditioner did drop heaps of water in the van it came out of the sensor for the remote mmmmmmmm not happy ... my pipe system works great now got a 32 mm flexie pipe from clarkrubber as the flow out from the pvc works a treat screws hard on to a thread on the pvc no clamp needed send a new pic of it all soon
u need a bigger hose out , if u haven't got a clarkrubber close I will get u some I got 5 meters I think and a few joiners so I can have it short or long , when I put it in van put it into its own joiner so water dosnt come out at all , I do the same with the water hose plug both ends into a connector , and ur posts are much longer than mine at times my eyes are sore ,,,,,,,,,,,,, lol giddy up ,, I can get u the fittings from bunnings too and come up one weekend to do some plumbing or is there one close but u need the clarkrubber hose !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh I lifted my pipes under the van with cableties so its flat all the wayPhew... Good to see some comma's migrating into your posts...
Anyhow mate, there are a few minor sags in the line from the sink but that's not going to be the cause of the shower flood I suspect flow has to go down, out the waste and then back up the shower line. The water takes the path of least resistance so it's more to do with the longer hoses and lack of fall from the waste pipe to the sullage. A couple of shorter section of hoses would work better I'm sure, but yeah I'm keen for something more reliable. Send through pics of the new set up mate as I love the screw on connector idea, much better than trying to force on the existing hoses...
no worries bro I think my hose was 35 joiners 6 bucks each pvc fittings bugger all but the conection fittings I use to the van mmmm maybe where 12 each but its so easy to put on and off and no leaks can easily get it all for u and come up will take all of 10mins to put together show u pics over the weekendThanks heaps @Bluey... appreciate the offer. No Clark Rubber immediately around here, but I'm sure I can source some from somewhere. Good tip with the cable ties too, if anything just to get things flowing a little more smoothly.
take a few in morning taking van for first service tomoz I have a list for them worst is the leaking air con into the van !!!!!!!!!Yeah pics would be great mate. I've seen the one from the step back, but I'm interested in the actual fitting you used on the pipe on the van. Any detailed pics are welcome mate.
have a look at the Ziegler and brown at bbq galore not bad we got one can cook with lid open too very much like the webberLove your work mate. Might even allow me to do some shopping and work on Sunday then... Concreter rang today saying that the pad for the van is postponed another week... Pretty ticked, but I'm off to find a Weber Q instead and spend some coin.
