Fitted 2 shocks tonight. I had to drill out the top shock mount holes as the new shocks use bigger diameter bolts. I also ended up painting the shocks red as black just looked to black.

:D:D:D Tragic I’d do the same ;)

Hey so the old shocks had the Limiters to stop the springs falling out. Guess you don’t need that with airbags as fastened both ends? But I would of thought limiting your suspension travel with the bags wouldn’t have been good for em.

Yes I was thinking the same thing about no suspension travel limiting device, Must be all good as that's how the factory Jayco air is and Airbag man have not said its needed. I may look in to it a bit more.

Tyre inflator connected and works well, Just a added bonus of having on board air to control suspension

Thinking about adding another air outlet connection at the front of the van so the tyre inflator can reach the car.

Finally got the 2 shock absorbers I have been waiting on.
Painted them red today and fitted them tonight, I now have all 4 shocks fitted.
The air suspension conversion is now complete.
Here are some pics.

Superb Brad, well down .

Is 60-65 the normal ride hide ?

So did you measure from original , how much lower it goes when completely deflated ?

On my van as its sits loaded now 60-65psi = 6.5" bag height, That is recommended minimum for ride height by air bag man.
This psi would change with the amount of load placed in the van.

Yes I did measure, With my van I got 80mm lower with full deflation from the factory coil spring height.

Thanks again mate so there 90mm from New would probably be right given your van would have settled over time ?

Yes Airbag man told me 90-100mm and I would say that would be on a new van with nothing in it.
My van is almost fully loaded (generator, 3 x full water tanks and every thing else we need for a trip and like you said sag from being 3 years old.

So,would be the side to difference you can get know for an uneven site ? Will you still carry ramps?

From 0psi to 100psi there is just over105mm travel so if i go all up on one side and all down on the other I would think I should be able to get around 105mm differance.
I will still carry ramps the first couple of time but after that I dont think I will.

just checked with a tape measure and I get 115mm differance side to side.
My leveling ramps would only ever give me 95mm max so i have more leveling ability with the air suspension.

Its hard to see the lean in photos but it is leaning quite a bit

Took the Basestation out the shed and for a drive to see if all was good,
Towed perfect and all worked as it should.
Took a few photos of the van levelled out with the camber of the road and its pretty cool.
