Where did I see these referred to as a "penis hitch"?
Does look like a great idea though.
Don't know the place but suspect it's similar to places we've had up here for Nightclubs etc called Throb, Fannies, Dicks & Boobies (4 different places at different times). And NO, I've never been to any of them.Must have been one parked outside the "Blue Oyster Bar "![]()
Vary impresive, i just bought oneI think I'll get one of these when the new van comes
I have 3 Mchitch boat, trailer and caravan Mchitch said it would coast $180 to turn it in to a dick hitchVary impresive, i just bought one![]()
That only for the caravan I don't think they make a 2t dick hitch yet$180.00 each or for the three.
Different hitch make it a bit harder to steal , so helps with security. What's the benefits in any other than the 50mm toe ball, I don't do much off road , only the odd dirt track , went down a big dip once , that's about it . Are the others easier to hook up , I don't know ,
Cheers
More tolerant of odd angles to hitch up. Not confined to the regulation maximum height for the hitch so can be matched to the car and van for how level you want your rig. More tolerant of ditches/humps when a standard 50mm ball fitting may reach the limit of its movement and put excessive strain on the towbar fittings or the "A" frame itself. This can result in shearing of fittings. What's the benefits in any other than the 50mm toe ball, I don't do much off road , only the odd dirt track , went down a big dip once , that's about it . Spoke to Jayco Sydney about changing the coupling to a McHitch or D035. They didn't want to do it ("well only do it if the factory does it"). Interestingly, they recommended I did not change the coupling during the warranty period.
