Water leak

Worst nightmare today , noticed small puddle under bed next to HWS , havnt used in a couple of weeks , but it has rained continuously for 2 weeks here in Perth. Thought maybe water is getting in through HWS cover on outside and getting thru gap which I have now siliconed up, wondering if anyone has had same problem.?

That should do the trick, why dont you wet it yourself and test your fix.

Yeah, I think that's where my trickle is coming from after I wash van!

Oh just had thought too, have you left the battery and water pump on then the system is trying to prime and you might have a leak coming from external shower connection (given you have water in the tank). Far fetched though a possibility.

The only thing I leave on is the battery, so there shouldn't be any pressure in the system, so only time will tell, fine weather over here for a couple of days, so if there's water back in there tomorrow , then will go to plan 2. .......... PANIC ...........

I have had rain enter the outdoor shower housing and then seep into the van. The housing is just not waterproof. Is it full of water by any chance?

No but I might water seal , just in case it is coming thru there....

Yeah that's a regular Jayco problem/crappy install practice. I ended up with 5 liters or so through the van when changing the annode and was pretty annoyed to say the least. Check out this thread for more info
