Really like what you have done. Great effort.

What thickness insertion rubber are you using?

I have access to a used conveyor belt that is at least 10mm thick x 600mm wide - could be a bit of overkill and unnecessary weight!

Use the conveyor belt mate, I think what I used was 8 or 9.5mm can't remember but boy is it dear. $42 pm for he 300mm wide.

I bought myself the D-Flector stone guard for $499 when we picked up the van as we were running out of time before we were heading off, so no DIY on this one unfortunatly. Fits really well and can be adjusted via the U-Bolt mounts.
