Stayed at horse shoe bay right on the beach at south west rocks and what a great place right on the beach. Brand new ammenities (females not finished yet). All services close by, bar right behind the park, no noise and the only issue was we didn't stay there longer... Also drove a out 5km to trial bay and drove through the park a d that looked just as good and. Priced you can have a fire and they had free fire wood for people to use in piles around. Oh and both parks had a boat ramp.

Ive stopped off at South West Rocks and had a feed at the pub there. Spotted Horse Shoe Bay Caravan Park and thought WoW!

Beach - 50 metres - Caravan Park - 50 metres - Pub & Bistro overlooking all the beaches from the top of the hill.

It`s definitely on my list of places to stay.

We have stayed at SWR caravan park a few times, not the one one the point but the one before you get into town. It has always been great. The riverfront sites are good but last time we had an ensuite site and it was fine as well. Have to walk a bit to get to the beach but that's OK for us. We will probably stay thre again some time too, although, have thought about the other park but it always looks so busy (school holiday times are our only opportunity to get away).

Yeah that's where we have stayed, great park and au t the ensuites tidy. The other park is a great spot though, just like you said bit busy holiday times, and I recall it being tight?

Word of warning re the river front sites on the out a town park, don't leave stuff out. Some locals walk along the riverfront reserve and borrow it but don't bring it back.

Stayed at Horse Shoe Bay back in O7 (had camper back then) nearly blew of the face of the earth but yes a since spot sit out front watch the Dolphins/Whale cruise past, must have done renovations since we were there as the amenities very run down not to mention drafty

Think the one back in town is the Top Tourist Park
