Vans roll more than anyrhing else under tow due to size, weight, wind, packing etc. WDH hitches, anti sway, new can ESC helps but accidents arent accidents, it will always come back to driver error, lack of skill, lack of anticipation, poor vehicle set up (like standard suspension) etc.
A off road hitch always helps as they swivel 360 so if the van flips it doesnt put the car over like a normal ball hitch can.
Beats me why punters stick with the standard ball on vans when a off road hitch is only a couple hundred more.
