I won an iDrive battery monitor in a competition (i won an iDrive as well, along with a list of other stuff to). Its been in the car for 4 months now and im pretty impressed with it.
Tiny device connected across the battery which talks via bluetooth to an accompanying phone App, monitoring 24/7. Costs around $50.
Its range is enough for me to get reporting inside the house around 8mtrs away from the car. Functions are voltage, crank voltage recovery, and charging health. One of the functions has 2 x battery voltage % alarms. When the battery reaches your pre-entered % parameters it sends an alarm msg like a txt msg to the phone to warning those discharge parameters has been reached
It all relies on voltage so obviously has limitations, but for a cheap simple set and forget handy helper, i like it
