gas struts to hold up underseat storage lids?

Has anyone tried this? It might help my kids put their things away instead of using the floordrobe!

hey there glee,i've placed drop chains from the hanger braket that holds that bed floor to the under side of the flip lids.cant claim the idea as copied from another member here.works at treat the floor is clear now.LOL. cheers.

Thanks Pace. Interesting. I should have been more clear about my van - I think yours is different because I don't have a bed floor - just flip lids with cushions (and clothes/personal debris) on top in the cafe area and bottom bunk.
