Interior Front Bed End - expanda

Has anyone solved the problem with the mattress being 3cm too long and not folding up properly or do you just force it? Has anyone had any response from Jayco regarding the problem?

I always found it hard to fold the bed up on the Basestation so I looked in to it and relocated the bar to the outside of the mount and that give me a little wider opening for the mattress to fit between the bar.

Bar now fitted to outside, gives more clearance
