Anyone upgraded the compliance plate on their van in Victoria? Sick of only being able to pack a single weetbix....
You need to go to the dealer you purchased. They will take some photos and send to Jayco head office. Increase to compliance plate largely depends on axle group load ratingAnyone upgraded the compliance plate on their van in Victoria? Sick of only being able to pack a single weetbix....
Is this only on new vans or older vintage as well. "2010"You need to go to the dealer you purchased. They will take some photos and send to Jayco head office. Increase to compliance plate largely depends on axle group load rating
I image would only be new vans, you would have to ask JaycoIs this only on new vans or older vintage as well. "2010"
It all depends on what the axle rating is how far you can go before you need to upgrade the whole running gear set up especially on the single axle rigs, then it becomes expensive.
How do I find out the rating on my single axle Dec 2010 16.41 tourer? Thx
Hey @JASA, Im in SE Melb. Where is your Engineer locatedNot at all...$350. Had another quote at $500 but he was up near Ballarat. Haven't got all the figures but the payload will increase by about 400kg. I don't need all that but I know I sit on around 650-680kg payload when we free camp with all the extra stuff required. My current payload is 475kg, so if I'm caught or have an accident I'm potentially screwed!! It'll be a nice feeling to be legal when I travel
Hi @Crusty181 The engineer came to my work (in SE Melb) to look at the van (I think he had other clients in my area). He told me he had bought a van and a car to match and was thinking about retiring soon. I'll check with him first before posting his details. If he is not keen, then I'll ask him if he knows of anyone else doing upgrades for vans that is also a VASS signatory (i.e. can provide the VASS certificate for VicRoads)Hey @JASA, Im in SE Melb.
