Looking good mate, envious about throwing a line in at Red Rock and that boat will be perfect for the Corindi River, just remember to check which areas are the No Fish areas and carry your NSW licence with you, the fishy blokes visit a lot............I'll be stuck at Tin Can Bay, waiting for next 50 or so pension cheques before going anywhere, it seems I spent all my hard earned but will be healthier as I have to give up the grog to pay for it.................

First run01mail.jpg .........................I assume the usual fishing tradition will continue, fattening up of the fish stock in bay for others to catch.........but when I do I will post a BIG pic of it..........................

I usually lock the safety chain to the tow bar (as well as the shackle).
That, together with a little padlock on the hitch, my trailer is yet to be removed while I’m out on the water (touch wood!!)

Most just padlock the chain to tow bar thats what I'm doing, with battery cutting discs and bolt cutters so easy to use now it only slows them down.

@Drover very nice and that smile says it all. Your actually in the water so you qualify for the "Boating" part of the Boating and fishing thread. There are 2 parts to this thread. @Bluey, youll need a pic of your boat actually being a boat to qualify .... sorry, but dems the rules. And the fish pics need to include the boat

Here's my entry ticket

(PS Youll notice when I do choose to wear pants ... theyre generally really weird pants. And when I'm work'en I always wear hi-viz. It was also quite difficult to stay on top of the curved ocean too)

I'm just looking in to registration.
I don't need it in NSW as i'm only running a 5HP but it looks like SA and WA require rego on all powered vessels.
You don't need rego in the NT as far as I can determine and I haven't looked in to QL yet.

Under 6hp no boat rego required in QLD and no fishing licence needed either, some inland dams you need permits though....

That also includes a boat licence, nil requirement if under 6hp, at some places in QLD 6hp means don't be out as the tides going out, you may not get back for hours or end up way out at sea.
