After seeing the Smerglings slip a few times on this (we ban shoes in the van, so they have sock on generally) and smack shins/elbows/heads on various things, this could be a good thing. Was just going to cut a rubber door mat to size by this might be lighter and less prone to moving...

just dont ask me how much it was........
............. 4 hours in Ikea was the true cost................................

(although, to be fair, it is the ONLY place in Perth with tasty Swedish Meatballs............ at the Caff...)

Alsooooooooooo.........
a roll of Patruli - (Swedish I am told for sandpaper with glue on one side)
so I stuck some on the steps to aide in entering and exiting without slipping

yeah, I had seen others like this, but they were way rougher - and if your bare footed - hurt like crazy

this one is more like 100 grit - or 150 grit wet n dry

Bunnings has a similar deck stuff I'm sure, don't know what it's called but in the Navy we called it deck tread, stop you going arse up and was just like sand paper in fact we would use it as sand paper sometimes. Just like a stick on tile but came in a roll.

so far - that Polaris system is on hold....... too many headaches looking at it
a mate of mine (he is in Avionics's so wiring is his game......) was going to come over last week, but he was sidetracted by work, so it can wait

however, I have been busy

I think @Marv_mart was asking about these catches - I finally fitted it up, so now I have 2 of them on the rear bed..... dont want nasty surprises when loading the Van up.......

been thinking of doing the same since seeing colin&sue pic. Do you think there would be enough room to put 2 thermometers on the front and have one for the fridge and one for the freezer. Barney

not sure of the exact amount of room, but there seemed to be enough room for 2 of those thermometers if you wanted
it just clips off.........

The thing that worries Mrs Dagree is that she now thinks I work at the "Toy Shop" as I walk in there and go straight to what I "Need" 8-)

She reckons I now get lost in Bunnings

I go into Bunnings and I just go blank, forget what I came for so have to wander down every aisle, get all sorts of stuff then.
Next week I'll be able to go to Jayco at Coffs Harbour, it has a great shop I'm bound to find something I need. No really decent place within a 100km of my place.
But I want one of those latches.

I was going to put it on the front bed - to make sure it wont "clonk" me on the head at any stage
then I thought, with the tables etc on the back bed, it needs it more than anything.........
bestest bit of kit......
so easy, thats one job I did without ANY hiccups..........
