Thanks Brad.
Yours look excellent. I like how you`ve opted for windows to keep the light in, but also have the option to unzip them and roll them up.

Unfortunately my budget only allowed me to get the canvas surround without windows and zippers. I can however roll each side up for ventilation or simply peg them out as Randi has done in his pic on page 3 or 4.

I asked the canvaser if he could attach them using the sail track. He told me that the sail track would interfer with the closing of the hard lid so I opted for press stud attachment. This was before I saw some of the others here attached using the thinner plastic sail track. I told my canvas guy about this. He said he`ll look into it. If he cant get any to fit he said he`d put extra press studs in for additional strength.

Looking forward to getting them and avoiding damp bedding. Will post a pic of them when they`re done.

Thanks for all the replies and pics guys.

Much Appreciated.

We have ours attached with metal sail track. It's attached to the ridges under the lid. Held up in 90km wind gusts with no problems

I think there must be about 15 press studs per end on my ones. They really are pretty solid. But I do wonder if the velcro they put on the bottom skirt of the bed ends that then wraps around and attaches to the underside of the fold out bed stops any wind from getting underneath it and potentially pulling it off.

I had the bed end covers made up also.
All tied down when the heavy rain sets in.
Also rolled up sides and pegged out rear to get some air through when the weathers good.
I find these better than the privacy screens as they still don`t stop the rain. This way I wont have anything resting against wet canvas.
No more wet bedding.

$180 all up.

Hi holiday annexes,
I'm sure this has probably been asked before... But is there anyway to leave your bed fly's attached all the time?
If we remove the privacy screens, can you fit the sail track in its place?
I would really prefer not to have to put them on/off every time we stop.... Particularly when we are touring.
Thanks for your help.

Well after reading all the reasons to have bed end flies, i have decided I should get off my backside and make some. Being an upholsterer has its advantages. I think I will use 95% shade cloth to begin with. My 16.14.2 already has press studs installed so I will just use them at the top to begin with but the sail track idea looks great and I may go that way later.
