After reading all this wieght stuff I spent the morning weighing everything in my van this morning, I have 200 kg left for fridge,(standard size - 90 or 110 not sure) and clothes for 4, most staple already in cupboards. I thought it would have gone heavier than that.

Good work Fishing Lizard! You've got plenty up your sleeve.
What's the payload for the 17.55-5 SH. I know it's a shower model, but is it single or double axel.
Wish I was in your position!

Hi FishingLizard,
Just looked at the Jayco website and your payload for a double axle shower model 17.55-5 SH is 475kgs. So when you say you have 200kgs left over for food clothes etc, means that you have already loaded 275kgs.
So you can see what I'm saying about those of us who only have a 300kg payload, and how hard it is to keep within legal weight limits. If you we're in my position with a single axle non shower model, you would only have 25kgs left over for food, clothes etc.
Bet your glad you have the double axle now!
