Welcome to the forum @Andrew and Kellie, my sister in law named both their tow vehicle and their van, they were Fred (the tug) & Ginger (the van), we haven't come up with anything as imaginative as yet but we're trying.

Dave

P.S. Just thought of Bonny and Clyde, will have to put it to SWMBO and get her reaction.

Don't know if it's weird or not to reply to my own post but here goes anyway, SWMBO has approved the new names for the tug and van, her exact reply was "it works" so Bonny and Clyde it is, the tug is now named Clyde and the van shall henceforth be known as Bonny.

Hi @Andrew and Kellie. Ours will probably be called Poh. (Hubby ordered 2 kungfu panda stickers from the uk for it.) Ours supposedly came off the line today, but we are picking it up on the 17/12. and :welcome:

PO is ours too ... But no one knows who that is so we just call ours the 'Kung Fu Panda' or as my rascals explain to others - our Cubby House on Wheels.

While in the van this morning, the family suddenly decided the van needs a name.

After much conversation, disagreement and laughs, the name is "Wei Ling" - The Panda!

Well I love resurected threads..................ours has gone from The Van to The Tardis as everyone on our travels think it's small (14.44.3 ) then when they look inside, are amazed "It's like The Tradis" bigger on the inside.....................so Tardis it is.................

When we had our Swan, we couldn't determine whether it was more trailer, camper trailer, or caravan so opted for 'The Camper'. The Basestation is a hybrid so again not fully a caravan, traditional Expanda, or van...so it's just retained the reference of The Camper. Time will tell whether that changes.....

Before we got into the mobile caravan scene we had an onsite van for 8 years on Lake Eilden in Mansfield. Victoria.
We were always having fun and laughing there so it got the name 'The Giggle Palace' .
We sold that and bought a 2011 Hawk OB. That got nicknamed 'The Giggle Palace II'
We sold the Hawk after only 11 months to upgrade to a 2012, Expanda. 16.49-3.
I contacted the people that bought it just before they arrived to pick it up from us to ask if they were going to name it, they had a laugh and said they had all ready named it 'BOB' ( presuming, after Bob Hawk ) So we custom made a 'BOB' sticker in the Jayco colours.
They nearly fell over when they saw it.
The Expanda now goes by the name 'Giggle Palace III, with a place to pee' or just 'Amanda'
We run a small custom sign business so we were able to make ours pretty quickly....If anyone want's custom names or just about anything in the sign side of things, just drop me a Msg.
Cheers.....Rosco.
