Be wary buying one from eBay @mfexpanda . I bought one from there saying it was suitable for a weber for ~$20 plus delivery!!!! Found out on arrival that it was 3/8"BSP and NOT 3/8" SAE >:( !!!

Ended up picking up a genuine weber one from local BBQ store same as @DRW (BBQ's Galore). Cost around the $60 mark.
Even saw one in BCF the other day whilst browsing.

I got mine from a smaller BBQ place owned by Kleenheat Gas (Opposite our local BBQ Galore)

Thanks bluey .
I'll need at least a 2 metre one but was hoping for the 3metre .
You should see where the fitting is mounted on the Silverline o_O I'll have to crawl under to connect it .

BBQs Galore and I am sure it was around $30. I can't be sure of the price. It was a 3 mtr.
Cheers Deano

no dramas cooking with gas bro but I do think the longer we can get one the more flexibility we have as to where to have the bbq and what side the gas fitting is on said bbq

Time to give myself a wrap @mfexpanda

I have a store on eBay and sell 3m s/s gas hoses. I get them manufactured in Australia specifically for Weber Q's with the stainless steel sheath. I only sell top quality and AGA certified gear. Sold a few hundred (incl. gumtree, trading post and retail) and with 100% feedback to date.

Search eBay for me, seller = ligedyletch and you'll see my pics. http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/ligedyletch/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

Hoses can't be longer than 3m and even then there's a grey area with compliance to Australian Standards... I won't confuse people with all the details but it also depends on the BBQ being used with the hose ( I.e. The BBQ manufacturer needs to certify the BBQ with a 3m hose).

It's tight competing with Chinese $hit on the market - I sell em for $64.95 on eBay (inc postage). If any Expanda members want one I'll do em for $59.95 to anywhere in Aus via regular post - just PM me.

Cheers Ligedy

Rays and BCF should be ok, Bunnings don't sell Weber as a rule
Don't specifically need a weber brand, most extended hoses work, mine from Jayco dealer.
Just need the correct thread which is fairly standard from what I found when looking around.
Also available from local BBQ centre.
