You could do maintenance on your boat, fishing rods, give the Cruiseota a polish, fix those annoying problems with your van, all sorts of things to get your mind off wishing why you didn't move to Queensland years ago..................................:behindsofa::biggrin-new:

Always up early, go for a walk or fishing/kayaking, you might not be able to go travelling but at least outside of the city we can still go fishing, folk still hit balls with sticks around the big lawns or walk on the beaches which is really good as no tourists to annoy you................ we only have a little bit of rain and then still in barefeet, shorts and T shirt for tomorrow we will enjoy the sunshine.............. I feel for you lot down there but it just part of the remedy to this scourge thats amongst us........ Stay sane folks and don't forget to laugh.

I always look at that sort of thing as a Good Sign that it wasn't meant to be, if you had gone ahead probably found something not right with them, when the seller is a pr*ck best to walk away...........

Follow up article. The NSW Premier has ordered her minister back to Sydney, and the NSW Police commissioner has said that if his excuse doesn't cut the mustard he will cop a $1,000 fine.

Nothing much else to do. Other than watch my superannuation balance dwindle away.

Although, I wound up the Penguin this morning to give it some fresh air since we have a good clear day today.
My partner is in there pulling out all the linen etc to put them through the wash.

Put the solar panel on the car batteries since we have not started either car for over two weeks now.
It will be another week before we need to go shopping.

tAke care

Its fun times, shed is clean, boat is clean, van is clean, so tempting to race to hardware shop and get some timber to make a mess again...... can order stuff from our Mitre 10 and its only $5 delivery but not half the fun............ I have taken up the 4 weeks free digital Courier Mail, mostly Virus stuff or Pell or Harvey Norman adds but I know where Dilbert or Calvin are hiding... I do love those that get indignant because they don't have it and see no reason for them to be locked away, as if everyone knows they are impervious to the Lurgy............ and Pollies who should know and ignore it should fall on their sword, don't fine them give them the boot...

I could not agree with you more @Drover regarding those that think they are above the rest and do not want to comply for the good of everybody, including themselves. @mikerezny earlier post about pollies is a disgrace. A great example set (NOT) by those people who are our supposed leaders in our civilisation and know better!!.
Latest restrictions now apply to ANYONE coming into Queensland (even returning Queenslanders!) mean all have to go into 14 day isolation if they have come from hot spots in NSW and VIC.

I see QLDers need a pass to get back in as well..........and then get isolated for 14 days, I have a mate who is staying at his daughters in Wodonga, not worth the effort to get back here...................... I have a parcel thats been sitting at Redbank MC since Friday it's coming from Brissie and another that was posted in Sydney on Monday arrived at Redbank MC on Tuesday evening and it also is in a holding pattern, they will blame the virus but anything I order from Brissie spends a minimum of 48 hrs at that place before the long journey north of 200kms which is another day and a half............. most annoying at this time....:censored::censored:

I have a parcel sitting somewhere as well @Drover it says it will be delivered around Tuesday 14th and I only have a few bottles left, I was going to see Uncle Dan today to buy some beer incase I have visitors over easter or maybe to drink by my self but then figured out it was the day before easter so ill just go down the road to the local pub and probably pay the $100 extra per carton >:( there is a new official sign at the boat ramp stating the ramp is still open as well, glad Miss Anna is spending money keeping us all safe, I guess thats what happens when we have someone who failed sand pit at school as a premier, 23 boat trailers at the ramp yesterday should be 24 but I have a dose of the lazies I cant shift

There are no real leaders in Straya, this lurgy has certainly highlighted that ... when your lucky (like us) you sometimes get what you wish for, so we cant complain really when we run popularity contests to choose the Spuds. Aim low, and youll never be disappointed
