That sounds attractive @Bluey, well some bits do but city crowds I think I will pass, along with going to work every morning even though it looks like only for a few months a year ................................... Everyday I have to decide what time to get out of the rack and will I go to beach , fishing, Kayaking or just hook up Big Mal and go for away for a few days or a month.................... Be a great Grand Final, No Collingwood......

Well, it’s official. Today I have my OBE. It has taken a long time but I’ve made it.:behindsofa:

When you get back up here I have a proper sword so I could knight you, somewhere in my Scots blood there's royalty, if not there should be... Don't forget the wheel nuts before you leave...

I had the big screen fired up in the shed while I was upgrading Big Mal, the AFL Grand Final wasn't a distraction, pretty dismal actually...Big Mal looks great though..... Most impressed that they copied the Netball's presentation using the kids, their faces are magic....

The NRL is a bit lame I reckon could never figure out the dumb decision to have the game at 7.30pm on a Sunday ......................... local comp games are better to watch the big boys games just seem so staged while the local stuff is an actual game.........

On a better note nearly did a perfect job of replacing the stone guard padded vinyl on Big Mal with rubber checka plate, have one bubble hope it shrinks in time as I'm not pulling it off, looks good which is always a bonus, ready to roll...............

RV Daily in my mail box today so I spy an article about brake controllers, sit back for a read, just another fluff article which really didn't say much at all, as usual but it did mention the NSW has repealed the law regarding the need for a battery monitor and alarm for the breaksafe battery...........

Hi just read your comment re NSW repealing the law regarding the need for a battery monitor and alarm for the breaksafe battery. I have just bought a van from QLD and an in the process of organising to get the monitor fitted in the tug. If you have the article still would you be able to share it as I can’t find it on the RV Daily site. Cheers

An easy thing to find I thought, WRONG, but had dumped my Trash folder the other day, I prevailed and its in issue 43 where it has an ordinary article on brake controllers, https://magazine.rvdaily.com.au/en_US/14233/201856/downloadable_pdf_tiles.html the link is where you can download the issue .........

It states that NSW has repealed the law but I haven't verified...

" Quote" . Until recently, NSW law stated the breakaway system also had to have a low battery alarm, with visual and audio alerts in the vehicle cabin; however, that law has been repealed. "Unquote"

Something different.............................. This fella from the Atherton Tablelands is currently steaming from Yarrawonga to Goolwa along the Murray River, it took 10 yrs for him to build the boat along with the boiler and engine, he was hoping to sail from Albury but not enough water so launched from Yarrawonga....
Mate fishing with him on the Murray at Mildura... I hope to see it for real one day myself.
