I want mine to fit a simple dinnette bed converter and its an 8 week wait :ambivalence:
Old van I waited this time around cannot be bothered.. Hence out there working out what would work.
Dinette converter.. Just get a piece of wood that goes past the edges. Unless your lucky and the Table actually fits between the seats.
the 17.58 the table was too big to go between and in the lips they have to hold it so they cut us some wood. Otherwise one end fits the other pokes out at a angle :(
The 22.68 again the table too big for the little lips its supposed to sit on.
Been thinking to get one of these they are using them in the club lounge vans now. Had a play at Sandown show.

Put in the slide out Pantry eventually was not the easy job I thought it be :( Spent a bit of time working different ways to mount it got some of those window spacers to push it out so went past the door. Was originally thinking to have the door on the slide out then worried it come loose.

Also brought some more velcro and velcro'd the seats down. Of course I find the missing velcro tomorrow..
Put some different screws into the middle rafter and some Skita see if it holds to Tocomwal on the weekend.

Great idea dave. All the best with travels and awning.

Neighbors just got back from GOR couple of days ago. Had a bad storm and six vans including their's awnings broke due to wind and hail down your way. Blew his sky light out off as well...it was poped open...they were elsewhere when it all happened.

It's your fault!

I just found some Velcro and more sikaflex in the shed. It was filed in a safe spot ....and replaced cos I couldn't find it.

Is your lost Velcro white and about 10m long? If so, look near the sikaflex.

I could open an eBay shop with the stuff I lose (or put away in a safe place).

I'm now looking for all the notes and calculations we made before we collected the van just to make sure the GVM etc etc are ok. I'm now a bit uneasy following the discussion on overloading.

A timely reminder to make sure it's right before we go away again rather than just add stuff and hope.

ok emptied front tank towball went from close to 290k back to 260kg.
If I removed the Weber and the pegs from the tunnel boot back to 250kg.
Weber only about 5kgs off the towball weight.
So If I want to use the front tank I will need to move something heavy out of the tunnel boot.

Of course the front tank is wired to tank #2 in the drifter panel :)

Which panel gauge did you get?

Ie...drifta does show tank levels though approximate rather than really accurate so can you use the tanks you want to and just monitor levels and usage that way?

If careful, it might be easier than re plumbing entirely. I always look for a simple solution if possible because I'm lazy and not very adept at changing things.

Also, we've got in the habit of carrying a slab of Costco water or Coles or Aldi and have found them good, particularly if water usage is likely to be an issue. And you can pack them over the wheels in vehicle or tuck them in spare spaces.

And if water quality is a bit iffy. You probably already do this but we've found its an effective way around a problem and you just toss the empties unless in Sth Aust where you get 10c for an empty I think. We donated them to the local scouts so not sure of the amount paid. Then the van water use can be restricted to cooking showers etc...and washing up if you run out of paper towels.

its a drifter @Dobbie.. So should be as easy as swapping the connectors around on the unit if it really bugs me :)
I like to start free camping now the twins older so hence the 3rd tank appealing. If we built I would of got 3 for a shower van and 4 kids.
Our next three trips two have ensuite's :) So might not even use shower. So could use the tanks if I wanted. We did that with the 17 a lot if only for dishes. Have a Best filter I always run when we hook up the water..

Yes we have a couple of collapsable water tanks I use for annex I could always fill in a pinch as well.

Up the back with the tents ;)

Ok back from the Rat..
Got the best fuel average with a tail wind and me being light footed..
14's up to Melton then 16.5 home love to have that each trip :)

As said the park was good for kids probably did 10 hours in the pool over two days. Indoor pool with a giant TV at one end so they watched Scooby Doo while swimming and all the crap kids shows Sunday morning..
Got to love coming home on Monday's most of the families gone from park by 10am and have the whole place to yourself.

We booked the park for Jan as available and can commute.
So Jan 3-21st.. Picked a nicer site. Well hopefully :)
