A small warning those type of connectors do work, but they are very prone to corrosion from any moisture, due to dissimilar metals (copper wire and metal coating on blade). They are OK if kept dry, though they do weaken the cable they bite into and allow moisture through the plastic insulation onto the copper wire. I had some on my old trailer and eventually had to replace them with soldered connections. I would suggest it would be a good idea try to protect them from moisture with waterproof tape or heat shrink if possible.
Good luck hope they are OK.
