cracow free camp all services including power only thing open in town is the pub only a few sites
moura apex park on river free camp pay hot showers nice spot but some long term free campers make their site look like a tip
springsure virgin rock free camp water toilets no shower very pretty rocks lit up at night
emerald free camps busy caravan park in opal street well run (lot of cabins for seasonal workers)
jericho free camp redbank no showers showers at free camp at showgrounds
aramac showgrounds pay for 2 nights get another 3 free
muttuburra council grounds same council as aramac they allow you to use free nights in either town
winton in town very busy most places booked bladensberg national park just out of town
clem walton park corella dam between mt isa and cloncurry nice pretty on lake no amenaties must be self contained
cloncurry Wals camp van park all drive through good price quiet
gregory downs free camp near hotel dusty free camp on river full of long term ers who take up the river front
adels grove no power all expensive but that is to be expected for where you are and their short season
lawn hill national park (must be pre booked through national parks ) really cold showers amazing place
adels grove and lawn hill check road conditions before travel as it can be bad but driving to the conditions all was well
burketown caravan park nice park well run
normanton van park near purple pub ok but disorganised with certain people parking in such a way as to avoid having neighbours
karumba pick of the parks, small park behind racq garage karumba point very clean and well run
croydon council van park in town $30 or camp at rodeo grounds $3 limited toilets
forsyth small park very clean very tight parking
einsleigh beside pub showers and toilets at pub good meals
mt surprise planet earth adventures good price easy park good food and Russel the owner is a character
ravenshoe rail museum no bookings few powered sites get there early or you may miss out
atherton bonadario rv park and wildlife reserve on barron river good price clean and quiet
daintree daintree village facility clean but dated bury busy and squeezed in
babinda free camp very busy get there early wet tropics rain and fog entertaining pm watching others park
murray falls near cardwell national park pretty quiet cassawories come into park waterfalls running water limited facilities
rollingstone free camp in town outside shower very busy get there early
townsville black river stadium van park out of town security gated no kids well run clean weekly rates
charters towers bivoac junction camp, on burdekin river good price facilities bit dated but clean quiet park
kilkivan railway park across from Fred Brophys pub free and pub meals good also camp at showgrounds
that trip 8306kn starting redlands 14 weeks

Thanks for the info, but I'm afraid it will get lost overtime, so this site info should be put into Wikicamps (or any other searchable campsite system). I just look on wikicamps for what is available in the area when I'm about to stop for the day.
