Hey all, with a new addition to the family the 14.44 hasn't got much use as its a bit squishy for 3, we would like to upsize to either a 17.55-5sh/ob discovery or 18.57-6ob expanda (bunks and shower/ toilet combo)

As the 14.44-3ob is not overly common on the market its hard to get an idea what it would be worth to sell privatly, its in above average condition, the only extras really non standard are a 120 ah battery and camec cover, has shower toilet obviously and the twin tanks/ gas bottles, wall mounted heron a/c and a stereo. Its a 2006.

Would be sad to see it go but doesnt really suit our needs anymore.

I like your car of choice...

...but onto topic. Really, I have no advice on setting a price for that particular 'van but offer this strategy.
  1. Google/Internet search a similar model and get a range of prices (which you've done I think and come up empty handed)
  2. Next work out what you think it is worth
  3. Advertise it for a few $$ more and see how you go.
  4. If it doesn't sell, then the market doesn't think it's worth that much and you lower your price.
Ultimately the market defines what something is worth. Some price cheap to move on quick, others hold for a little more if not under stress to sell.

Good luck with the sale.

Another option @DiDExceed ,if possible, take it to a dealer and find out what it's worth as a trade in and add a few thousand $'s and see how it goes.

I would be wary of that as I was offered a trade of $22,000 on my 2010 14-44-3 for a new Journey 17-55-9. I want over $10,,000 more than that.
Sounds like they didn't want your business at that offer :o
Not sure of the going price for 14'ers but I would have taken that as an insult!!!!!

@DiDExceed my suggestion was just to get a feel of market trade in value.... Maybe I should have said "Take it to a few dealers and get some comparisons"

Last year mine had a tag on it of $31,000, I didn't pay that much though, a 2009 which had sat in a shed and never used.
