I have a TV/DVD combo thats 12v/240v - not sure of the make, as its packed away in the Van - Panasonic I think

also have the Lappy if I cannot be bothered getting the TV out for the Daughter

dont watch that much TV myself (unless its a Disney movie) so I dont even have an aerial

Weren't you watching multiple episodes of something last week?
I can't remember what except that you were devoted....I don't think it was Disney related but I could be wrong.

The van we sold a few months ago had a tv/DVD which was, I think, a 21.5 inch Sphere .....largely unused. It still had the plastic protection on it. It came with the van. A surprise to us, as we hadn't ordered it. But it seemed to work well, the few uses it had. I do know we used it only on 12v, regardless of whether we had 240 available.

Just a quick update, after looking at the offering from Jayco, and a few other retailers where prices for a 24' dvd/combo were as high as $425 (guess who), I managed to pick up a Soniq unit from JB Hifi for $199, pic looks good and it should do everything we need as far as playing from USB and portable HDD.
I had a look at the SatKing units at RTM and I'm pretty sure they are exactly the same @$399.

Anyway I've saved a couple of hundred over the Jayco price and I can spend that on something else.

Cheers Glen.
