I thought I should post something that happened to us very recently to bring it to the attention of other Expanda owners and see if anyone else has had this issue.
Whilst doing the washing up, some water had splashed into the vent underneath the lid of the stove (at back, not over grill). A short time later, all our mains power had shut off with the safety switch kicking into action. The first time it happened, we weren't sure of the cause, the were able to turn power back on the following morning. The week before last, we couldn't turn the power back on at all. Thankfully we had solar and the fridge on gas until Page Brothers in Melbourne could fit us in.
The cause was that the junction box behind the stove was not placed at the correct position and was sitting at the lowest point with 2 wires running into it. Page Brothers moved the junction box to a higher position so it wasn't at the lowest point any more and all is fixed with great professionalism and under warranty.
So thankful were weren't on a long trip - merely living in the van while renovations being completed.
