Unfortunately, this wasn't what we expected. While it is a great park for it's location and for boating and fishing and whatnot, it wasn't really a family orientated park.

A large park of 100 sites plus 35 camping sites in a flora and fauna area on Wangi Point. Located on the side of a hill, the front half is level at only a little above water level, the rest are tiered up the hill. Of those 100 sites, only 30 appear available for bookings (the rest are permanents or owned) Being Summer, most were occupied by those who go there every year, and more than half by two families only :) (No issues, just found it funny getting to know the exteeeeeennnnnnddddddded families)

Amenities have been modernised, and while appearing small, had no issue with demand as many vans have their own facilities. Entry was via a keypad.
Sites were a little close together, but the roads are reasonably large and recently upgraded. (The van was in place on the first reverse with no adjustments needed) Sites were grassed with a concrete pad for the annex. A bit more shade would be nice - the sun was harsh in the afternoon.

Unfortunately, other than a very average playground near the camping section, there was nothing for the kids. Even swimming in the lake was advised against since the only graded level was the boat ramp, and for the number of 'razor fish' in that area.

The township proper was a 10 minute drive with an IGA, RSL, and other shops. A swimable beach was also near the town.
