40 psi in the van.

I up the Terry tyres on the rear to 40 psi and the fronts at 34 psi (I think - can't remember & away at the moment). This is Ford's recommendation for maximum towing.

Good stuff. Got to Orbost from Melbourne no prob with 39Psi. Tink before we head on our next trip though.... She getting a 3t axle upgrade a little reinforcing where the back end of draw bar is attached the the van and also a set of heavier duty tyres... The tyres on there currently are only rated to a max of 40psi ???

Like wise 40psi on van, which is the max pressures for the tyres currently on the van which I thought was a bit low for an All Terrain LT tyre, and yep a 40psi they too looks flat

Capt. G,

I think the single axle vans are getting the better AT light truck tyres like yours and those of us with the tandems get the non-ligh truck, lesser load and pressure rated tyres as there are more wheels to distribute the load over.

Or, could it be that yours are 16s and mine are 15s?
