Hi All,
Although my van has a sticker indicating tv must be removed when travelling does it really need to be?
Who leaves theirs mounted?
Obviously not on the rough stuff but on the black top?
Mines just the small Sphere LCD 19”.
Cheers,
Andre

I have a 19” TV/DVD combo LCD unit and have travelled the Darling River Run and a trip toBirdsville and didn’t remove it.

Thanks @MDS69
I’m thinking I’ll leave it in place from now on. Too many things to fish out and setup already
I was sure it shouldn’t be necessary unless you have a big heavy TV on there.

It really depends on the mountng of the bracket and being Jayco not all would be mounted the same, on Big Mal my TV is very light and has a substantial mounting point but in The Tardis I would take the same TV down as I didn't trust the mounting, well the bracket looked good it was where/how Jayco bolted it originally.

Thanks guys.
Mine has a substantial arm with the locking arm so I was surprised it would be an issue with the small light tv.
Unless the wall fixing is poor it should be ok I think.

What a great video it made my day, really bought back some memories.:D
In the early 80's I had a job with the West Aust Water Resources and we drove fj45 land cruisers, not as old as those in the video but old by todays standards.

We drove all over the Pilbara in those tojos, they went anywhere and those ones really were unbreakable but; The seats were shyte, the ride was as rough as guts and as for 85mph:censored:
And the only time it would fly through the air is if you drove it off a cliff :clap2:

You need a computer to watch that @Crusty181 but good attempt anyway, you are obviously over this thing called work[/QUOTE
Whatever you used to respond to that, will probably do. Youll love it

You noticed the work thing .... Ive kinda subconsciously brought my retirement forward a year. Not sure if it was a miscalculation in the first place, but Ive embraced it
