Hi all, have struck a problem with the pump for the loo not working. Have checked the fuse inside the toilet box and that is good. Any thoughts? I know I have read this problem somewhere but could not find the thread.

I had a problem where my button locked on, perhaps your button has failed. Does it make a clicking sound when you push the button?

When you push the button does it "feel" right under your finger?

Yep the pumps seize. You can access it through the top button panel on the dunny. Peel the panel back and you can feed the pump out, helps if Your hands are like ETs. give it a spin and a squirt of wd40 and it might last another week or two. Get a replacement from England. About $35 or get raped here for $100 you have to cut the wires to install a new pump. Total don't be rude design.

Some pics below of removing the pump, WD40 worked for a while but kept stopping so replaced with a new one.

How old is yours, I saw on this site that the Thetford loos have a 3 year guarantee, ours is now booked in at the local agent .. free of charge

Just had same problem, turned impellers with screwdriver worked with direct 12v put it together no go,turned out the 3amp fuse although
not broken was intermittent beeping when using a multimeter, replaced with a 10amp all good .now need to get 3amp to replace the 10amp. Its annoying when a friend drops in and finds the problem in minutes when you have spent 2hrs taking it to bits and putting it back.
now I can flush with confidence,
Shiraz
Yes it did follow all the above advice.
