Yes, I used the stairs but certainly not the ones for the 77 floors up just the metal ones outside, and yes, Mrs CR was in the coffee lounge looking up taking pictures through the dirty windows. :biggrin-new::biggrin-new::biggrin-new::biggrin-new::biggrin-new:
The offer is tempting but have to take a rain check, too many things happening. :ballchain:

Well @chartrock , for an old bloke, you have some "pretty" nice company with you. Forget about the tethers, there are more interesting sights to see.
Mate, I have a great grand daughter around the same as that one. She was nice though, assisting her father who is deaf, by “signing” all the instructions and comments for him. But the sights were really worthwhile.

Heads up, make a run early. I managed to escape the first few lockdowns by being prepped ready and hitting the road early. They stiffed me this time

its a worry here when SEQ has its little flare ups, we are on the edge of the SEQ, so only a National Park seperates us but heaps of unwashed rally up the beach to be amongst us at least its only a 10 min drive, at fulll noise with Big Mal on the back to escape this Shire.
This weekend will be spent waiting for nice weather to turn up.

WOW Paul, I’ve done most of the tall ones 101 Taipei many times, the bottle opener in Shanghai as well as the TV tower, Auckland tower, Empire State Building ( only because some moron flew a plane into the world trade centre ) but I’ve never had any inclination to go to Dubai until now!!

Now I feel guilty I had great intentions yesterday but this morning I chose bacon and eggs instead and stayed in bed..................... HMAS Gascoyne a long way from home, she's getting on in years , be about 21/22 now I reckon.... The MineHunters and Sweepers used to be crewed by Pirates but I suppose they have been turned into goodie two shoes like all the rest..
