@cruza driver, I think your right last time I was away and couldn't add to it so lost it.
Here we go, won't waffle on but to say each of my vehicles were all fantastic performers and never let me down on the road, they usually waited till they were in the driveway and each has special memories, great ones of my family and kids, we used the LO lever very often.
The Jeeperific and Brumby are still current, The Mogster took me around NQ up the Cape and Gulf country.

40 yrs of Four Wheel drives...............................PS: There was an LJ80 Suzuki there as well no pics.

1st car 76 Corolla van running a 1600 twin cam 2T-G levin motor along with the 5 speed box. The 1st car I blew money on.

Next came my first 4wd I purchased as a 4th year apprentice plumber in 1984 paying cash of $13185. for a Hilux xtra cab new to the market back then. I did spend a few dollars on this making it into an ARB display vehicle. I sold it some 14 years later for $11000.

With a family now underway I replace the Hilux with a V6 Triton dual cab because I wanted a few more KW than the Hilux offered., along with a back seat.

After this I moved into the family wagon thing, buying a Prado in 2000 and since then having now owned 3 Prado, with my current one being a 2015 model.

With no real need for a wagon it might be time to move back to a dual cab Ute.

Oh and I have also been lucky enough to have numerous utes and other company cars over the years but they don’t count.4AEE91D2-77E3-474B-929B-C40E056C51D9.jpegD1B70B88-4B98-4E94-B31C-C97E7687DD86.jpeg7ABBDC6F-7385-4C52-AD9F-8F52A90EB2CF.jpeg2611313E-D422-484F-B82E-8E6A89D83496.jpegC3F00D26-E463-4D7C-818D-077E7467FC0E.jpeg9329C11B-62C1-4845-9014-484675D04617.jpeg

1st car in 1986 was a Mk1 Escort coupe

HDT VK SS Commodore in 1994?? And sold around 1999 for a house deposit. Stupidest thing I did, selling not the deposit.
then got Married and the bride had a Lancer coupe
first family car VX Commodore wagon bought new 2002
moved it on to the current vehicle 120 Prado bought new in Dec 2008
2007 bought a VH Group 3 which is currently in a thousand pieces in the garage.
Numerous tradie company vehicles from 1993 to present.

I loved that vehicle and it took us many places but when you reflect back gees it was uncomfortable even with the OME suspension. I remember when buying it I was offered Airconditioning for a cheap price but turned that down as unnecessary. Could not live without it now, but at least the Hilux did have power steering.
The photos on Fraser Island was the start of a honeymoon adventure that seen us travell for 4 months through Qld up to the Cape and everywhere in between.
Only sold it as the kids had arrived.
It seems a shame that I don’t have the Hilux but still have the wife, something must of gone wrong there.

Mine was a year old with low km when it got it, from memory was 12k new was around 16k, bit different now. I remember the canopy was joined to the cab with a boot, it was so noisy because the was no window in between, had to have one fitted, after that all good.
Mine didn't have A/C either

Yep,my canopy was connected to the rear of the cab with a rubber boot too but I did have a sliding window installed. The boot rubbed the paint back to bear metal
