Taggerty Big 4 caravan park is right on the Acheron River which makes it a ideal holiday destination for people who enjoy to fish. It has the usual Big 4 facilities like jumping pillow,playground,and inground pool. A round of golf can be played on the mini golf course too.

There is a rec room yet very basic but comfortable. The amenities are ok but only 4 showers so during peak periods you may have to line up for a while for a shower. The reception caters for all your basic needs with friendly staff.

No pets are allowed.

Fires are permitted in hired fire drums from the park but check 1st whilst booking.

Yes this one is our regular. We find it good as it has plenty of cabins to accommodate our not so lucky friends that do not have expandas to joins us on our trips. Very child friendly. I haven't been there on a long weekend so. Ant comment on how the amenities stack up. As with many caravan parks the reception staff could always be a little more accommodating for later check outs...I don't understand 10:00am check outs for caravans in the quiet season when there are dozens of spots empty???

We had a 12pm checkout on the weekend it didn't appear to be a problem and if you wanted to stay till 5pm on the day of checkout it was an extra $10 which a couple of families from our group did.

Nice one, $10 well spent. We stayed at the twin rivers caravan park on the weekend, they allowed us one site to stay on till 5:00pm for $20. However we had to remove all other cars and our van out of the park and walk back in! For a group with kids made it pretty difficult, we stayed till three and the place was empty. He'd a good weekend there though.
