Just traded the hilux in on a jeep GC.
Panda is in need of service but the WDH shoe that the toe ball is on is too long for the jeep. Can i throw the panda on the factory tow bar to get it to jayco 15km away and then get them to service and refit the WDH with a more appropriate WDH shoe?

Don't need a WDH on my Jeep. I would check your towbar mount bolts are tight also, mine weren't originally and the end result wasn't nice....................................

It will be fine, It will also give you a chance to see how it feels with/without the WDH e.g. drive down without it have it sorted drive home with it fitted, maybe even take a longer route so you can get up to highway speeds, then make up your own mind on how it feels.
Granted it probably wont be loaded in touring mode if just going for a service.

OH! and BTW where have you been hiding?

Jeep advise that you must use a WDH when you tow anything over 1587kgs - Page 485 ish in the manual.

Thats interesting, my old Grand is probably considered ancient now, bit like it's owner, it has solid axles no fancy air bags to consider when loading up things.
