I used Rock Tamers on a trip to Birdsville in 2012 and when I got home they went in the dam as they caused so much damage to van and car, still had to cover back window and what rocks didn't bounce up and still hit van bounced back and blasted the back of car so would not recommend them

Made my own setup with a angle pointing back down so the rock would hit and be sent back where they came from

Had a stone stomper on the swan. Picking up the new van with a coast to coast on it, then whan I get back to WA will be measuring up for another stone stomper.

Yep definitely Stone Stomper, tried the A - frame mounted one like Coast to Coast, also tried same set up as Rock Tamers and both still let rocks past and hit the van. And on this trip we are on now I reckon I've seen over half a dozen cars with smashed rear windows from A - frame mounted stone guards so I will never go back to one of them and I'm also surprised by the amount of Stone Stompers around they are very popular.
