New spare tyre location. Making room for the new toolbox.
Special thanks to @TTBRIDGE for his design and build.

I have a toolbox being custom made, which I'll pick up this Friday and fit on the weekend..

Stole the idea from @Brad & Donna I think it was.

Being made locally from Diamond T toolboxes to carry my BBQ and bits & pieces.

Nothing to show on the front as yet!!

Need to work out whether to use the old copper pig tail style gas bottle connections or the standard BBQ flexible hose you see a lot of now?? My mate is a gas plumber and he will be doing the work on this for me.

One thing I noticed at the Caravan show in Melbourne the other day when looking at Jayco's, the Silverlines have flexi gas hoses now as the bottles are on a drawer that slides out. But each bottle has a gas fuse. Good move, presuming in case of hose failure. Something to think about for those who have flexi hoses.
Do it proper do it copper;).

yeah i like the copper as well, the flexi braided lines seem to perish over time and then as you bend them small pieces break off and block the regulator

Just imagine starting you apprenticeship when that show was a hit. I am Tim (but not a tool) well from my perspective anyway. Very nice bar by the way...;)
Hey Tim,
What are the chances of knocking one of those rear bumpers up for me? I see your at North Lakes, I'm only at Redcliffe.

Box mounted and new gas lines fitted.

Had to move the front tap too for better access.

Box is as close to van as possible to allow better reversing and turning circle. image.jpg
Hence moving gas regulator to the front. image.jpg

Important fact, make sure your regulator is higher than the gas bottle screw in valve. Allows moisture water to run away from the regulator, not into it.
