So how did it go, no bottom out problems ?????
Moving mine from a drop down on the bar to underneath and trying to get max height while still being able to lower it from the outside seems to be my main stumbling point but yours seems to fit the bill quite well.

No problems with the height as the outback has plenty of room to move underneath. Its only about 80mm lower than the water tanks so didnt lose to much at all

Sounds good think I'll use a bit of yours and a bit of @Capt. Gadgets ideas, winder from the side thru chassis just drill thru and weld a tube in the hole for the winder to pass thru and it will stop the chassis from getting dirt and crap in.
great pics.

I just drilled a 12mm hole through my back bumper which was at the correct height for the winder to go through and covered the holes with a couple of rubber grommets that are easy to remove and replace when necessary.

Mine is round and has the drop down rack in the way which I was going to leave in place as it may be of use for an extra spare and mounts my rear cam as well, but mostly it's welded on and I did such a nice spray job on the whole bar I don't want to wreck it all and have to do it again (I hate painting) and grinding off the welds will surely do that.

up in Karrathaso would probably be more trouble than its worth could send the dimensions if you wanted
Hi vasco, would you be able to send through all the measurements. Would be forever grateful as I have a fabricotor happy to whip one up for me and I have acquired a spare wheel winch.
