Is it just ours, or are all the grills almost a waste of time?
Mine is the 3 gas burner, 1 electric hotplate, and gas grill model.

Cheers,

I agree, we only discovered the same thing this week end.

Correct me if I'm wrong but did'nt the older model grillers have enough grill to cook 4 pieces of toast (I'm sure our 02 model Finch did?)?

Thanks guys, you would think a stove that costs close to $1000 would toast!
I notice the flames that come out of the burner are not even 10mm long!

Anyway, I found thishttp://www.motorhomefacts.com/ftopicp-453455.html#453455
And also found the jets can be bought in 4 different sizes from http://caravansplus.com.au/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?search_in_description=0&keywords=smev+jet&Submit=Search
So I can undo any changes I may make.

Dont change the jet sizes. If the stove is under warranty, then take the van back for a warranty check. It maybe under gassed, so it may just need a basic service adjustment. I know it seems bad, but that just be as good as it is ever going to be. If you "turbo" charge it then other components or the timber cabinetry may get too hot and if something went wrong, I somehow dont think they would cover it under warranty or insurance.

Not familiar with the stove as we have yet to finish our order, bit I presume it has grill frets on top of the grill burner. Sometimes they have to be heated for a while so they can then radiate heat down onto what is being cooked. A lot of grills just need some pre heat time.
