17' Series Roof Strut measurements or numbers needed please.

Hi All

Just back from a shake down trip and have decided to replace the roof struts on our 17.56-2 Outback due to the roof not coming down straight and we believe one or 2 are stuffed as roof is bloody heavy for me

We have 500N on there with roof top air con and solar- both factory, looking at going to 650N.

Does anyone have exact measurements for these struts or a part number that I can search EBay or online caravan stores?

The body of the strut looks 460mm and 200 stroke, does this sound correct? 8672ZM part number from what I can see.

I have a set in my shed, will try and have a look tomorrow when home. They are not dear even from Jayco but can be a bitch to swap unless you strap the length.

Have just got off the phone with the main WA Jayco dealer and he said they only fit 330N and I wouldn't be able to close it with anything bigger than 580N. They stock nothing over 330N and I need to go to a strut specialist and take one in to get the measurements the same with 500N. Even with roof aircon/solar he said would be happy to fit 330N... Will have to get the hubby to ring.... Cant believe they couldn't even give me factory standard measurements!
