I was planning to replace the awning fabric and checked out a few prices between $400 and $800ish. FB does that thing where anything you look for appears in your feed for the next 6 months - which usually annoys the heck out of me. But up pops an ad for a boxing day sale by Jillaroo - resulting in $365 for a 15' fabric with similar pattern to original
The last 5 years have not been kind
Much of the stitching has failed
And so out of square the arms had to be unequal lengths and with duct tape packing to make it roll up straight
I cut the tube off to simplify removal but it still needed plenty of silicon to slide the old track out
Nothing like an engineer son to help with the physical stuff
Pushing the tube thru was fairly easy although sliding it into the track and then onto the drum was a two person job
A few openings, resetting the rhs arm back to equal length with the lhs. Now I just have to insert the locking screws
About 3 hours all up seeing we had no idea other than youtube to guide us - but the enclosed instructions were pretty good
Fabric seems pretty similar to the original so it's a tick from me
